GENERALLY, A SUCCESSFUL SWEET HOME COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANT PROJECT WILL:
-
Improve the quality of life in Sweet Home
-
Have broad community support and/or foster community involvement
-
Have a lasting, beneficial effect
-
Provide widely available advantages for children and families or enhanced livability, education and arts and culture to the community
-
The applicant demonstrates a high likelihood to successfully complete the project.
PROJECTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SWEET HOME COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANTS INCLUDE:

Direct grants, scholarships, or loans to individuals
-
Personnel costs
-
Endowments
-
General fund drives or annual fundraising appeals
-
Projects of sectarian or religious organizations whose principal benefit are for their own members or adherents
-
To retire debt or operational deficits.
